Thanks for the Cakes for Rotary Club. December 05, 2023

Dear Claire,.
I am writing to thank Speyside Kitchen for the two delicious cakes that you donated, bar the cost of the ingredients, to the Rotary Club of Spey Valley. Kath did a marvellous job cooking, dressing and presenting two very different cakes. She is a star. Both were won by folk from Grantown on Spey.
The cakes were the big draw to the stand on both days and attracted the most funds. The two days were attended by different demographics; 'Grantown Does Christmas' 94 folk bought a ticket for the cake and hardly anyone played the games, but at Badaguish 47 for the cake with more folk playing the games. All in all we raised £330 for our Aquabox appeal.
Aquabox provides clean water solutions and Aid boxes for disaster and conflict areas around the world.
Along with other funds we have raised elsewhere, this money will provide some of the filters and aid boxes as seen in the attached document.
Thank you all once again for your marvellous donation as without the cakes from Speyside Kitchen we would not have been so successful.
I hope the move to your new premises in Grantown on Spey is going well and that you can look forward to a more stable base.

Now I am back home I just want to say a very big thank you for your marvellous catering for us all at Aultmore on the 12th April. It was just great to have such delicious food delivered to us, it was all enjoyed enormously. We celebrated what would have been my uncle's 100th birthday his daughter's 60th birthday on her actual 61st birthday and my sister's delayed 70th birthday. The food was delicious and enabled the celebrations to go off wonderfully, it was so good to be together after the horrible couple of years we have all had.

Speyside Kitchen provided a 3 course meal for 5 as part of my wife's 50th birthday celebrations when we stayed in Aviemore recently as part of this. I honestly cannot fault Claire on both supporting me and providing this as well as the quality of the food. Claire and the team catered to my needs and were flexible so that we had a good choice of food. It was prepared somewhat in advance & came in ready to heat containers with details for each item of cooking guidelines also, great attention to detail, meaning minimal amount of effort so we could just relax and enjoy the great food!
If you want something slightly different, that is of great quality and good value for money based on what is being provided, as it was delivered to the door also, then I cannot recommend enough this company, my wife was absolutely delighted with it, as we all were.

Just a quick email to thank you for such a perfect visit to Badaguish. We in the area to visit relatives and enjoy the stunning location but were unable to stay with them due to Covid restrictions. We were delighted with our Wigwam (very spacious for two!) and delicious meals which we bought from the Kitchen for three nights and found the whole arrangement comfortably Covid Secure and an ideal spot for outdoor October mini break.

It worked perfectly -all dietary requirements catered for!! And virtually no effort on my part apart from heating up the oven
I think we enjoyed everything and I appreciate the thought which had gone into it – it felt like a real occasion . Personally I particularly enjoyed the Eton mess!! But it was all delicious and a bit different .

Thank you for your help with our catering last weekend at The Wilds. As far as I am aware, everyone in our party enjoyed their meal on Saturday evening and it certainly made my life easier. It was more enjoyable and relaxing than going out to one of the local restaurants for a meal but allowed folk to have a choice rather than what I felt able (and willing) to cook in a strange kitchen.
I am sorry that I was still out on our morning activity when you arrived to deliver the meal but my son seemed to have taken in all the important information you provided.

Claire and Sarah catered for a get together I had with 10 friends at the weekend. They made some delicious Scottish themed canapés followed by a wonderfully hearty venison bourguignon. They brought it to the house with very simple cooking instructions. My friends and I loved the food and it made for a thoroughly enjoyable, relaxing and stress-free dinner party experience.
